Not every roll survives here. Some cheap tape softens in summer and oozes. Good butyl holds its shape. You peel the liner, press it down, roll once. No mixing. No waiting. On a 50°C roof, that saves more than money.
If you distribute in UAE, Qatar, Oman or Kuwait, ask your manufacturer for heat and sand adhesion tests. Ask for sample and photos from Gulf projects, not just lab sheets. A factory that already ships to the Middle East knows what July does to adhesive.
