What is the difference of VHB tape and PE foam tape ?
VHB adhesive tape is a acrylic foam tape, using pure acrylic resin material, 100% fully closed cell structure design. The foam core of PE foam tape is polyethylene foam with adhesive coated on both sides. Generally speaking, in terms of strength, temperature resistance, outdoor aging resistance, chemical resistance, waterproof sealing, vibration fatigue resistance, etc., the performance of VHB tape is better than that of PE foam tape. Therefore, VHB tape is used in high-strength, high-load-bearing or harsh application environments, while PE foam tape is more suitable for general bonding of low-cost operations such as signs, wire clips, and small accessories.
