Transformer Margin Tape

Transformer Margin Tape is composed of a non-woven fabric on a polyester film substrate, and then acrylic adhesive is coated on one side of the non-woven fabric. Its thickness could be one layer, two layers or three layers for customers to choose. BTW, this tape is also called non-woven margin tape.

Product Specifications of Transformer Margin Tape:

1-layer margin tape: 0.15MM thick * 90 meters

2-layer margin tape: 0.25MM thick * 45 meters

3-layer margin tape: 0.45MM thick * 30 meters

The width can be arbitrarily cut from 1MM to 1000MM, and the whole width is 1000MM.

Color and performance of  Margin Tape:

The color is brown and white. Its main components are non-woven fabric and rubber (or acrylic glue). It has good performance of temperature resistance of 130 °C , pressure resistance of 5kV ,good adhesion,combined force and excellent solvent resistance,etc

Uses of Margin Tape:

1. It is mainly used for the insulation of UPS power supply, dry-type transformer, high-temperature power frequency transformer, gasket (high temperature), and microwave oven transformer.

2. For insulating wrapping or retaining walls in the electronic industry such as transformers, electronic coils and motors.
