Semi Conductive Self Adhesive Tape， is also as known as Semi-conductive EPR Tape , Which is a specialized tape made using an ethylene-propylene rubber (EPR) base material with semi-conductive carbon particles dispersed throughout. This type of tape is designed to provide electrical protection, especially against induced high voltages, when applied in electric power systems. Its characteristics include low voltage breakdown and high dielectric strength. The tape can be applied easily to surfaces with a simple hand rolling technique and provides superior adhesion, flexibility and mechanical strength. It is mainly used to line terminal ends and other joint areas in electrical equipment, cable terminations and power bus bars, and for vibration damping of cables and equipment.
