Deer Fly Ball Introduction:

It is also called deer fly glue ball, which is a kind of insect glue trap that catching all kinds of flying oor crawling insects including deer fly, fruit fly,etc .  It is in round shape similar to citrus fruit. The surface of the ball is full of strong sticky shellac with attractant . The adult worms are lured to the surface of the spheroid to be grabbed.

Use step:

1. Unpack the fly balls and be careful with the adhesive on them.

2. Use the wire in the box to pass through the small hole at the top of the fly ball.

3. Choose a suitable branch, fix the wire.

4,  Use about 10pcs per mu for insect control,  or 3-5pcs for general monitoring or low insect volume area.

Knowledge of using deer fly ball

1) Hang time :

Begin to hang during the peak emergence period of insects adults (middle and late May).

2) Hanging position

Hang the ball in a shaded and ventilated place in the middle and upper part of the fruit tree, avoiding direct sunlight as much as possible.

3) Use density

On average, hang 1 pc per 2 trees. If the number of insect populations is too much , the ball qty can be appropriately increased

4) Hanging method

Depending on the size of the canopy, hang it at 2/3 position of the tree height (about 1.2m-1.5m) with good sight, and then shake off the wrapping paper.
